To respond to our rental properties, you need to register via MyProperty. This is your personal online housing file. With MyProperty, you can search for suitable properties and manage all your responses to rental properties at Schep Vastgoedmanagers.
Register as a home seeker / create an account
To start searching for your ideal rental property, you need to know what rent is right for you. We use various income standards ranging from 3.5 to 4.5 times the basic rent when allocating our rental properties, which may vary depending on the property.
Some municipalities require a housing permit. A maximum income may also apply in these cases. This means that you may earn too much for certain properties and we will not be able to allocate the property to you. If a housing permit applies, this will always be stated in the advertisement text.
You can use the rent calculator below to calculate an indication of your maximum rent.
Now that you have a better idea of your maximum rent, you can start searching for your ideal rental property. You can search for your desired property within our range of properties on our website.
MyProperty Search Profile
You can create a search profile in your personal housing file. In this search profile, you can indicate where and what type of home you are looking for. As soon as a new available home that matches your search profile is added to our database, you will receive a message via email.
Are you interested in a property?
Please respond as soon as possible via the response button on MyProperty/your online registration. This will place you on the list of interested parties and give you a chance to secure the property. The first candidate or candidates will be contacted by us, Schep Vastgoedmanagers, for a viewing.
Full MyProperty account
It is important that your (income) details and those of your partner (if applicable) are completed in full. We use Datakeeper to collect this information. You can easily link your Datakeeper account within your online environment in MyProperty.
Reserve list
It is possible that you will not be selected as a candidate initially. In that case, you will be placed on our reserve list. You will then need to wait patiently until you receive a message from us informing you that you have been selected as a candidate after all, or that the property has been allocated to someone else. You will always receive a message in either case.
If you have been selected as a candidate for a property, we will contact you to schedule a viewing. There are two possible scenarios for viewing a property:
Viewing with the current tenant
In this case, the property is still occupied and you can make an appointment with the current occupant to view the property and discuss any items you wish to take over. This is between you and the current occupant; we will not be present. We will also discuss with you what you can expect, such as scheduling the viewing and the response period.
Viewing a vacant property
Together with other candidates, you will have the opportunity to view the property. You will receive a warm welcome from our rental team, who will be ready to answer all your questions.
From the moment your appointment is scheduled, we will consider you a "candidate."
After the viewing, we will let you know as soon as possible whether you are still interested in the property.
Excited about the property you've viewed? Time to complete the registration. We also use Datakeeper to collect all remaining documents. Datakeeper.
You can find all the information about submitting the correct documents and linking to Datakeeper in your MyProperty account.

Once we have received all the information, approved it, and notified you that the rental can definitely go ahead, this means that the property has been allocated to you. Congratulations!
Once this (still verbal) agreement has been made, you can no longer change your mind. If, after this verbal agreement, you decide not to proceed with the purchase of the property, we will charge you a fee of at least €250.00. In addition, we may also have to charge you for other costs incurred.
The lease agreement can be signed digitally. You will receive it in good time before the key handover.
Please note the security deposit or bank guarantee and first month's rent.
Please ensure that we have received a deposit or bank guarantee and the first month's rent before the agreed completion date of the property. Without these payments, completion cannot take place.
The day of the key handover has arrived! Together with one of our housing coaches (technical supervisor), you will inspect the property. Any defects will be identified and repaired if necessary. The final handover is always recorded digitally and signed.
Of course, you want to move into your new rental property as soon as possible. That is why the final inspection of the previous tenant will sometimes take place at the same time as the handover to you as the new tenant.
We wish you much happiness in your new home!
