Good news! Today, the lucky winners of the 50 mid-range rental homes in SAWA Rotterdam will be announced. This is not just any housing project—SAWA stands for sustainable living with a unique combination of timber construction, biodiversity, circularity, and communal spaces.
What makes SAWA extra special is its social approach:
Priority for people in social professions (healthcare, education, police).
People who leave social housing in Rotterdam have an advantage.
In this way, the complex contributes to the City of Rotterdam's Mid-Range Rent Action Plan and we encourage movement in the housing market. We do this not because we have to, but because we believe in a fair and sustainable housing market.
